Through my work as an Incorporated Engineer, a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and a STEM Communicator (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) , my interest lies in conquering human error and developing competence in individuals and groups regardless of gender and societal, racial or religious background. I am a consummate advocate of education for all as a fundamental right according to the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights

We often hear how a good command of English and a good literacy level is not required for STEM subjects or STEM careers. This is a complete falsehood and is not based on facts. On the contrary, literacy is vital for real success in STEM studies and careers.
